Italian Sausage and Green Pepper Pasta Sauce
1 lb turkey or chicken italian sausage
1/4 cup of water
1 cup sliced mushrooms
2 Tablespoon vegtable oil
1 large onion
1 green pepper
1 28 oz canned tomatos
1 5 1/2 oz tomato paste
1/2 to 1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 pound linguine
Fresh parmasan cheese
Place vegetable oil in a pot along with cut up sausage. Cook until sausage is done. Remove from pot and add onion, green pepper, mushrooms. Cook until tender. Add canned tomatoes, tomato paste, oregano and water. Cook on low heat for 10 to 15 minutes. Add cooked sausage, heat another 5 minutes. Cook linguine until tender, add pasta over top of linguine. Top with parmesan and enjoy.
