Baked Brie in Puff Pastry
1 pkg. frozen puff pastry (397 g.)
1 cup brown sugar
½ cup pecan halves
1 large brie (8-9 inch. Diameter)
1 egg yolk
Thaw puff pastry and roll out ½ of pastry into a large circle (12 inch diameter).
Mix brown sugar and pecans together, and pile onto middle of brie, keeping in from the edge of the brie.
Roll out other ½ of puff pastry and place on top, seal edges and trim.
Wash top crust with an egg yolk wash.
Bake in 450 oven for 20 minutes; lower temperature to 350 for 30 minutes longer.
